AW17 Coats

This Mango Coat combines the colour and texture trend. The colour is amazing and it being fur would make any simple outfit stand out from the crowd. Cannot go wrong in this coat! Even better this coat also comes in a bright yellow and a rich chocolate brown. This is great dupe for the Max Mara oversized fur coats.

Jacquard can sometimes feel outdated, however the current jacquard coat trend has won me over. This very unique coat from Zara has so much character and with a great pair of huge statement earrings would make a fab outfit. The fringe detail gives it an effortless feel, this coat could be worn during the day with some simple trainers and in the evening with some heels.

This fab green colour, for me is the updated version of our standard black coat. Despite the shape being quite masculine, it provides great structure to an outfit with the sharp shoulders, oversized lapels and the tie waist. This H&M coat is great value for money being 50% wool. Buying these key quality pieces will last you BASICALLY forever and go with BASICALLY everything.

I am a sucker for some leopard print and this Monsoon one I love! The casual fit of this coat makes it easy to throw on, but gives an outfit that extra touch.

Your coat should be perfect for you. If you're investing a lot of money into it you would want it to go with a lot of your clothes and also last you throughout many seasons.

Take your time researching and understanding what you want from the coat, whether it be for an everyday use or as a statement piece when you go out!

I try and buy at least one coat every Autumn Winter and I don't mind spending that little bit extra cause I know my collection of coats will take me through many cold British winters!
